“Monas” is Spanish slang for dolls. But these aren’t the kind that sit quietly on a shelf.

Las Monas are curious creatures from my imagination who know how to wander and wonder in equal measure. They are keepers of play, protectors of emotion, and explorers of those invisible worlds that we often lose touch with when we forget to be curious.

Each painting is a quiet exclamation: that life is more than tasks and timelines. It is a wondrous, aching, beautiful thing to feel and be. Through whimsical forms and fearless color, Andrea creates spaces where imagination is not only welcome, but necessary.
