I am not here to be easy to love.
I am not sugar, and I do not bend.
They tried to soften me into something easier to hold but I slipped through.
I kept the edges, the boldness, the parts that don’t behave. There are softer pieces of me, yes, but they belong to me.
I don’t exist to be liked.
I exist to be felt.
I am neither sweet nor submissive.
I am mine.
No estoy aquí para ser fácil de amar.
No soy azúcar, y no me doblo.
Intentaron suavizarme, volverme más fácil de sostener pero me escapé.
Me quedé con los bordes, con lo intenso, con lo que no se comporta. Sí, tengo partes suaves, pero esas partes son para mi misma.
No existo para gustar.
Existo para sentir.
No soy ni dulce, ni sumisa.
Soy mía.
